you are playing it wrong! each one of those sweeps you are playing in one position is actually meant to be played from one side of the neck to the other, hence the sliding noises you hear when you listen to it in slow motion when trying to learn this song by ear. sure it sounds good cause its easy to play and sounds somewhat right, but if you wanna play it the way jason does, then you need to change the shape of your arpeggios from that single position and slide up the fret board to get that authentic sound. this might be a one in a million comment calling you out, but i believe you are a one in a million guitarist and want to see you be perfect. P.S. when i play this song on my guitar i make sure to get it right!
This is the truth though. I have the old VHS where he talks about sliding. Nothing wrong with trying to help bro.

The original inventor of this system is Alex Khromov from Russia who sells it direct for half the price and is called "AEX 5+" This tremmory from Thomann is a stolen design
Yeah! I've heard about it. But it's really hard to get one from him. Basically, it seems he does the system by hand and you need to order directly to him. The only way to contact Alex was by an email but no one has been answered back. Really sad :(

the pulloff to the 2nd note of each arpeggio is rushed. You can hear it when slowing the vid speed to .25. You missed one or two notes also but at 1.0 speed, it's really hard to tell those. Very clean playing and great job!!
